Hi, I’m Raven.
I’ve spent 18+ years caring for animals, and in 2019 that lifelong experience grew into Raven’s K9 to 5. I founded the business to give pet parents the kind of dependable, compassionate care I would want for my own animals, including dogs, cats, small animals, exotics, farm animals, and the wonderfully unusual companions who do not fit neatly into a box.
Every care plan is built around the animal in front of me: their routine, comfort, personality, handling needs, feeding instructions, and the little details that make home feel like home.
Raven’s K9 to 5 serves Louisville and the surrounding Kentuckiana area with a focus on clear communication, safety, and care that never feels one-size-fits-all.
When I'm not caring for animals, I run Sinderweave Labs, my web design studio here in Louisville.

Our own animal-loving household includes two dogs, four cats, and two cockatiels. Here are some of the personalities who make our house a home.
Kiba
Meet Kiba, our energetic, people-loving resident adventurer! Raised around other dogs since he was just eight weeks old, Kiba has grown into a well-socialized boy who loves making friends, playing, and spending time with his favorite humans.
With his playful personality and boundless enthusiasm, Kiba can be a wonderful companion for compatible medium and larger boarding and daycare guests. All interactions are supervised, with introductions based on each dog's temperament and comfort level.
Health & Safety: Vaccinated, on flea prevention, with neutering planned.
Loki
Sixteen pounds of fluffy personality! Loki is incredibly smart, hilariously stubborn, and a total mama's boy. He loves chewing on his favorite toys, playing, and keeping everyone entertained with his big personality in a little package.
As one of our resident pups, Loki can make a playful companion for compatible smaller boarding and daycare guests, with introductions always supervised.

Meet Mith, our giant kitten with the soul of a philosopher and absolutely no concept of graceful landings!
Mith enjoys sitting upright like a human, staring thoughtfully into mirrors as though contemplating life's greatest mysteries. When he's finished pondering, he simply flops backward with a dramatic THUD!
Adopted several years ago, Mith has blossomed from a shy newcomer into a playful, vocal, affectionate cuddle bug. He's a big fluffy sweetheart who keeps us laughing with his ridiculous sitting positions, curious personality, and endless kitten-like energy.

Meet Alita Battle Angel, affectionately known as our beautiful adult potato!
Once a tiny little potato with an angel-shaped marking on her face, Alita grew into a gorgeous, goofy, affectionate girl as her coloring darkened with age.
Alita takes her grooming responsibilities very seriously. She loves giving her favorite humans a thorough cleaning, cuddling, and making sure everyone receives plenty of affection.
She's also the sister of fellow resident cat Ra's, making them our very own sibling duo!

Meet Ra's, our mysterious, golden-eyed resident quest giver, named after the legendary Batman villain!
Despite his intimidating name and dramatic appearance, Ra's is an absolute sweetheart. He's a huge lover who adores cuddles, affection, and spending time with his favorite humans.
As a kitten, Ra's battled an upper respiratory infection that left him with his now-signature raspy meow. It only adds to his charm and makes every conversation with him a little more entertaining!
He's also Alita Battle Angel's brother, completing our adorable sibling duo. Don't let his villainous name fool you. This boy is all love, with a little mystery mixed in.
Bane | Chief Snack Supervisor

Meet Bane, our affectionate little troublemaker named after the legendary Batman villain!
Bane has two great passions in life: licking toes and making absolutely certain his food bowl is never empty.
If his bowl is empty, you WILL hear about it. He'll meow, follow you around the house, stare directly into your soul, and remind you approximately every five minutes that there's a serious problem requiring immediate attention.
And don't think ignoring him will work. Bane will personally supervise you until the situation has been corrected.
Despite his demanding management style, he's a loving sweetheart who keeps our household entertained!
Our resident cats are kept separate from visiting dogs for everyone's safety and comfort.
Meet Boo & Jack.
Boo, Chief Attention Officer: Affectionate and mostly bonded to Raven, Boo would love to hang out with her mom all day. She's always eager for attention and time outside her cage.
Jack, Chief Serenade Officer: Our talented whistler who says "Pretty bird" and serenades Boo. She usually has other priorities, like getting Mom to let her out!
Our cockatiels have a separate protected space away from visiting dogs.

Our two-story, two-bedroom, two-bathroom family home offers cozy living areas, comfortable places to relax, and a privacy-fenced backyard for supervised fresh-air time. Visiting dogs enjoy a home-style setting, appropriate furniture access, familiar routines, and personal attention rather than a traditional kennel atmosphere.
Separate spaces are available whenever guests need rest, quiet time, or added safety. We manage introductions and activities according to each animal's comfort and needs.
